SAKIT ATAU SIHAT .

Bismillah .
Me waiting for Oked / Zaini to bring Abah back from HUKM upon discharge . This must be almost the tenth time going in and out of the ward , since he came to stay with me this time around . .......honestly i am numbed by all this . Jurang yang membezakan diantara definasi 'sihat' dan 'tak sihat' or even 'sakit' . For every single ER episosde , memang Abah is ever so helpless , none of us could do anything to make him feel better . It would be either one of the two things .....COPD ( which is worssening ) or the allegedly so-called gastritis . I mean , me being me as the health-advocate would actually bow down my head to short-term immediate relief for my poor daddy's sake irrespective of side-effects and all . Subhanallah . I should say it is a blessing in disguise . If not for morphin , nebulizers , anaesthetics I can't imagine how would my father had survived the tribulations of his emphysema and excruciating abdominal pains . I am grateful . Alhamdulillah for some harmful things in our lives that made our journey less painful .
Until today , the doctors rate him as healthy because he passed all the tests ......blood pressure , sugar level , kidney conditions , heart , stomach , All are good except for the lungs which is diagnosed as COPD STAGE 4. As one of the doctors put it , my father's lungs are at its worst stage . Allah yashfihi.
IT IS AN IRONY.
The lungs at its last legs but the other organs and the rest of the body is in good condition .
Is it not ?
The lungs being the main organ of respiration where the oxygen is being imported from outside our body ( in exchage for the carbon-dioxide to be exhaled ) , managing only to function at a barely minimal level and consequently affecting the entire body system because no cells can live without oxygen . Hence , every single part of the body would sooner or later fails to do its job . To say he is healthy and yet the lungs is at its worst is surely is not correct . It doesn't make sense .It.s contradictory .
They deem him healthy . A healthy person doesn't go into ER every other day .......
