Selepas tiga kali dipujuk , tiga kali Isnin berturut2 saya decided to bagi orang peluanglah , diorang macam aku jugak nak prospecting ....let's get it done with lah , bersungguh sangat this Chinese lady , Kalau tak nanti she probably akan call the next Monday selagi kita tak kata TIDAK .
She came with her husband , seems humble and friendly although macam very jinjang kind of Chinese ( you know what I mean ) . Yang obvious , dorang tak bawak any products . Pelik sebagai penjual . That's fine with me sebab I takde duit , besides she dah promise tak payah beli dan tak payah join kannn. The husband yang did the presentation ( what we now know as an OPP- opportunuty presentation preview ) . Walaupun he was not fluent in BI nor BM , which he campur campur kan in elaborating his points .....at the end of it all I was sold . Dia covered only on the health part of the flipchart , none on the business aspect . None at all . Not even make attempt to try close the sale despite the fact that I was exuding great interest in the so-called magical mushroom . " Ni orang baru dalam MLM agaknya ". ...gitu lah in my mind .😅 . FYI by that time coincidentally , the concept of healthy-living / no sugar / no-vaccine / sunnah foods etc was already the practice in our house , so bila dorang cerita macamana lingzhi works the whole idea fitted in well with our life-story . I liked it , I wanted it , I desired for this legendary herb of the Ming Dynasty ........and any salesman would sense the signs of an earnest prospect . " Ni orang baru dalam MLM agaknya" .....diorang tak ' STRIKE THE IRON WHILE IT'S HOT ' , suatu idea yang didrill kedalam minda kami all the time dalam the MLM company I was in. Kami diajar dan di ajar dan ingatkan , STRIKE THE IRON bila nampak mata prospek excited atau bila prospek tanya macam2 soalan atau bila prospek start belek2 produk dll lain2 body language yang menampakkan minat . Dalam situasi kami pagitu saya memang dah terlalu-lalu teruja , tetiba diorang kata they will go home first and minta saya baca some of the reading materials yang dorang bawak . Anti-climax betul . Memang tak pandai cina dua orang ni , kalau aku lah penjual ni sure aku dah cloae the sale kaw kaw punya ....
When my husband came home from work I kisahkan tentang the king of herbs tadi and also tentang ketidakmahiran the chinese couple who came . Pass hime the books , and we kept on telling each other we will surely buy it nanti bila kita dah ada duit sikit , which tak pernah cukup then .
ps : These couple became diamonds 2 months down the road tauuu. 😎
